He viewed the film Thunderstruck where a boy magically obtains the basketball skills of NBA star Kevin Durant. After enjoying the story, Stafne wanted to be a basketball standout. Crowds Gather For District 2C Tournament


Basketball fans from throughout the area had a busy week supporting their area high school basketball teams during the District 2C tournament held in Sidney on Feb. 6-10. Area teams fared well as Culbertson’s boys, Bainville’s girls and Froid/Lake’s boys each qualified for the divisional tournament. Culbertson placed second in the boys’ tournament and Bainville earned second place
