Crowds Gather For District 2C Tournament

Basketball fans from throughout the area had a busy week supporting their area high school basketball teams during the District 2C tournament held in Sidney on Feb. 6-10.

Area teams fared well as Culbertson’s boys, Bainville’s girls and Froid/Lake’s boys each qualified for the divisional tournament.

Culbertson placed second in the boys’ tournament and Bainville earned second place in the girls’ tourney, Plentywood won the district championships for both boys’ and girls’ basketball.

Schools represented at the tournament were Bainville, Brockton, Culbertson, Froid/Lake, Richey/ Lambert, Westby/Grenora, Plentywood and Savage.
