School track record performances by Peyton Summers led Wolf Point at the Sidney Invitational on Saturday, April 20. Summers was pushed by Thomas Haskins of Williston, N.D., for most of the 3200-meter run before the Wolf Point runner pulled away on the last lap. Lustre Track Athletes Claim Seventh Place At Sidney Meet


The Lustre Christian Lions accounted for 35 points to take seventh place at the Sidney Invitational track meet on Saturday, April 20. Williston, N.D., topped the boys’ standings with 95 points while Glendive placed second with 78.3 points and Glasgow was third with 66 points. Two Montana State University professors, in cooperation with Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks, recently updated the Fishes of Montana app used by anglers who want reliable information about Montana fish species. The Culbertson School Board met in regular session on Monday, April 15, at 6:30 p.m. in the high school cafeteria. A solid day by senior Kessee Erickson led Poplar’s track efforts at the Sidney Invitational on Saturday, April 20. Erickson earned fifth place in the discus with a mark of 94-4.
