After both teams kept exchanging points in the first half, the Bainville Bulldogs took control in the second half for a 75-39 conference football victory over Froid/ Lake on Saturday, Sept. 7. The Red Hawks held a 2520 lead until Bainville’s Rowan Wilson hit Isaiah Bjorge with a 26-yard touchdown pass with 4:15 remaining in the second quarter. Members of the Culbertson/ Bainville cross county team competed at the Poplar Invitational on Saturday, Sept. 7. Rebekah Ellerkamp, a sophomore, earned 21st place in the girls’ division with a time of 27:50.9. Jade Lonebear was right behind in 22nd place at 27:53.2.
