Temperatures Expected To Be Higher Than Normal In Upcoming Months


The weather outlook appears to be leaning toward higher temperatures than normal for the region, according to National Weather Service meteorologists. During the weather-ready briefing for eastern Montana and northern Wyoming last week, meteorologist Scott Rozanski of the Glasgow station said that the Glasgow area experiences higher temperatures of 1 to 5 degrees above normal during September.

The Poplar Volunteer Fire Department and a local water tender were paged to a fire at an abandoned house near Brockton School Saturday morning. PVFD chief Victor Grant told the Northern Plains Independent that the department was paged out around 7:30 a.m. and had fire extinguished by 10 a.m. Nobody was hurt.
