Abandoned House

The Poplar Volunteer Fire Department and a local water tender were paged to a fire at an abandoned house near Brockton School Saturday morning. PVFD chief Victor Grant told the Northern Plains Independent that the department was paged out around 7:30 a.m. and had fire extinguished by 10 a.m. Nobody was hurt. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
