Driver Charged After Semi Rollover

A man from Maryland was cited for two charges after the semi-truck he was driving rolled over on U.S. Highway 2 near Wolf Point on Wednesday, Dec. 4.
According to the Montana Highway Patrol, the semi was eastbound on U.S. Highway 2 near mile marker 598 when it rolled onto the south side of the road and the driver then over-corrected. The semi then split onto the north side of the road.
The crash, that occurred at about 9:03 a.m., came after dispatch received a report of a semi swerving between lanes.
Antonio Barnhill, 40, of Frederick, Md., was treated and released for minor injuries to his neck and back. He was charged with careless driving and not wearing a seatbelt.
The semi was carrying cola triazine 80, a pesticide. A company cleaned up and covered spilled and not spilled areas both north and south of the highway. None of the liquid was on the highway.
