Wolves Drop Match In Malta
Wolf Point’s volleyball team lost to conference powerhouse Malta by an 11-25, 12-25, 16-25, final in Malta on Saturday, Oct. 5.
Malta jumped out to a 13-1 advantage in the first set en route to the victory.
Down by a 21-7 margin in the second set, the Wolves fought back on a kills by Kashlyn Speak Thunder and Keeley Blount-Henderson to pull to 23-10.
Despite an ace by Speak Thunder, Malta held on for a 25-12 win.
Malta led by only an 11-10 margin in the third set before increasing the margin to 1913, The Wolves will host Harlem on Saturday, Oct. 12, for its annual Pink Night.
