Culbertson Falls To Thunder

Culbertson dropped both games against MonDak to finish the regular season on Saturday, Feb. 10.

The Cowboys suffered a tough 47-46 loss against MonDak. The Thunder outscored Culbertson 19-12 in the fourth period.

Culbertson led 23-22 at the half and 34-28 after three quarters of play.

Gavin Deen and Mark Kirkaldie led the Cowboys with 12 points each. Bridger Salvevold finished with nine points.

Also scoring were Nyreece Halvorson with five, Donte Eagle Boy with four and Dawson Bergum with four points.

Leading the Thunder were Dillan Wade with 16 and Graham Wright with 13 points.

MonDak’s girls earned a 4737 league victory.

The Thunder led 20-17 at the half and then increased the gap to 39-24 in the third quarter.

Scoring eight points each for the Cowgirls were Destiny Thompson, Ayden Ator and Leandra Perkins. Also scoring were Mariana Burciaga with five, Emma Berwick with four and Ivy Colvin with four.

Top scorers for MonDak were Katelynn Folvag with 15 and Abby Lowes with 12 points.
