Brockton Tops Frazer Teams

Brockton won both non-conference basketball games during action against Frazer on Saturday, Jan. 27.

The Warriors posted a 6427 win in the boys’ game.

Brockton gained a 21-9 lead in the first quarter and held a 41-16 half-time advantage.

Leading Brockton’s attack were Ronnie Black Dog with 19 and Jarid Fast Horse with 16 points.

Also scoring for the Warriors were Josh Firemoon with six, Wambidi Yellowhammer with six, CoDean Youngman with four, Miles Boxer with four, Colter Nygard with three, Quannah First That Walks with two, Thomas Blackdog with two and Quincy Belgarde with two.

Scoring for Frazer were Ty Fourstar with six, Zayden Hentges with five, Gabriel Beston with four, Joseph Beston with four, Chase Jackson with four, Christopher Fox with two and Jarius Good with two.

In the girls’ game, Brockton won by a 55-53 final.

Frazer led by a 26-20 halftime margin, but the Warriors took a 35-32 lead in the third quarter.

Tamryn Bauer led the Warriors with 21 points. Ava Lone Bear added 11 points. KayJay First That Walks had nine points.

Frazer’s Maci Fourstar-Sibley scored 15 points. Baily Beston accounted for 12 points. Isabelle Fourstar had 10 points.
