Culbertson Students Compete  At Dawson Dino-Mite Invitational Culbertson Students Compete  At Dawson Dino-Mite Invitational

The Culbertson speech and drama team competed at the Dawson Dino-Mite Invitational Tournament on Saturday, Jan. 6. The team worked hard, and their comments and results show it.

Sam Annett earned first and Colt’n Rees placed second in memorized public address. Harrison Green took third in informative speaking. Florian Budurean took sixth in humorous solo, Jaxon Flynn placed seventh in informative and Logan Berwick was eighth in humorous oral interpretation. Josie Simonson placed ninth after a heart-breaking tie breaking procedure. Also competing were Klesta Goci and Chris Chilson.

Overall, the team placed first in Class C speech sweepstakes.

The team’s next, and final, invitational of the season will be held in Fairview on Saturday, Jan 13. The public is reminded that Culbertson will host the Eastern B/C divisional tournament on Jan. 19.
