Lady Wolves Aim For Return Trip To State
Wolf Point’s girls’ basketball season begins practice with the goal of returning to the state tournament this season.
Seniors on the squad are Juellz Bauer, Sierra Hamilton, Kylie Rodenberg and Azalei Ackerman.
Other returning players from last year’s varsity roster include junior Keeley Blount-Henderson, junior Ameliya Doney and sophomore Kashlyn Speak Thunder. Girls who were alternates
Wrestlers Look For Strong Season
Wolf Point Coach Scott Vandall is optimistic with a turnout of 13 wrestlers for the upcoming season.
“We have some returners, some new ones and some have come back,” Vandall said as the Wolves started practices on Thursday, Nov. 16.
The girls’ team is led by Joli Beston, who has placed twice at the state meet. The senior earned sixth place at last season’s state competition.

Lustre News
The Lustre Grade School hosted the Frazer Bearcubs Friday evening, and went to Saco Saturday to finish their season of junior high and jamboree basketball.
The jamboree girls played Frazer first and won their game 22-14. They played so well.
The Jamboree boys (grades 5-6) played next, winning 2810. It was good to see their team work in defense.
