Bainville Boys Fall To Savage

The Bainville Bulldogs suffered with a slow start and lost against Savage, 51-39, in boys’ basketball action on Saturday, Dec. 16.

The Bulldogs trailed 19-11 at the end of the first quarter and by a 37-22 half-time score.

Bainville’s top scorer was Cayden Boyd with 12 points. Chuck Butikofer finished with nine points. Also scoring for the Bulldogs were Alex Strickland with six, Sam Butikofer with six, Rowan Wilson with three and Reese Harmon with three points.

Reaching double figures for Savage were Hunter Sanders with 14, Connor Lyons with 11 and Cade Tombre with 10 points.

The Bulldogs will host Richey/Lambert on Friday, Dec. 22.
