Roosevelt County Sheriff’s Report

The Roosevelt County Sheriff’s Office responded to 55 calls from Dec. 5-11.

Dec. 5

Deputies assisted the Wolf Point Police Department with a report of a suspicious person on Custer Street.

The Sherman Inn called in regards to an adult male. Deputies assisted WPPD and the ambulance service for the man suffering with chest pain.

Deputies assisted the WPPD regarding a report of a fight at the Wolf Point High School.

Deputies assisted McCone County with a fight reported at Harry’s Nite Club. It turned out the incident was more of a family member dispute.

Deputies assisted WPPD regarding a report of a male breaking glass at Albertson’s. Law enforcement couldn’t located the individual.

Dec. 6

Deputies performed a welfare check in Culbertson. Deputies responded to a report of a male and female arguing in Fort Kipp. The parties agreed to calm things down for the night.

Dec. 8

Deputies responded to the hospital in Wolf Point for a patient allegedly striking a staff member.

Deputies assisted the Fort Peck Tribes Department of Law and Justice at the airport addition in Poplar to assist with the search for a suspect. There was a report of a shooting there earlier in the day.

Deputies responded to Poplar for a restraining order violation. The male left the scene prior to the deputy’s arrival.

Dec. 9

Deputies received a report of reckless driving north of Wolf Point. The vehicle featured four males. Deputies responded to a report of a disturbance in Culbertson.

Dec. 10

Deputies responded after Smokey’s Bar in Bainville requested the removal of a female patron. She was transported to the county line.

Deputies received a report of careless driving near the Mint Bar in Froid. Deputies located the male at his home.

Deputies performed a welfare check in Brockton regarding a juvenile female.

Dec. 11

Deputies assisted FPTDLJ at the airport addition in Poplar after a female said a male was trying to shoot her with a BB gun. He was transported out of the area.

In addition to the citations above, the RCSO had the following activity: Wolf Point city limits, four; Wolf Point rural, three; Poplar city limits, seven; Poplar FPHA, two; Culbertson town, five; Culbertson rural, nine; Bainville town, two; Bainville rural, seven; Froid town, two; any other area, three; Brockton town, four; Brockton rural, two; Fort Kipp, seven; Stateline club, two; total, 71.
