Red Hawks Earn Win Over Brockton

 

Froid/Lake came away with a 49-39 victory during boys’ basketball play in Brockton on Saturday, Jan. 21.

The Red Hawks gained a 13-10 lead in the first quarter and led 26-25 at the half.

After leading 33-29 at the end of the third quarter, the Red Hawks scored 16 points in the fourth quarter for the league victory. Mason Dethman accounted for eight points in the final period.

Top scorers for the Red Hawks were Dethman with 16, Patton Bighorn with 10 and Joey Boyd with 10 points.

Also scoring were Max Engelke with seven, Nate Stentoft with four and Landen Kelm with two points.

QuinnDale Pretty Paint scored 14 points for the Warriors. Colter Nygard added nine points.

Froid/Lake will head to Fairview on Friday, Jan. 27, and host MonDak on Saturday, Jan. 28.
