The 2021 Froid Community Fund has been completed, reports the Round Tuit Homemakers. The drive exhibited a tabulated total of $17,270. This amount proved that even in a year of adversity, our community remains very generous. The following organizations will benefit from this year’s outstanding drive and, as in previous years, any additional donations will be included in next year’s fund

Elk Hunting Regs Revised, Out For Comment Again

A revised set of proposed changes to elk hunting regulations is out for public comment, and the Fish and Wildlife Commission will meet on Feb. 4 to make a final decision on the 2022-2023 regs following a controversial start to the update. This time around, Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks took a different strategy to a regular update of its elk hunting regulations, said spokesman Greg Lemon.
