Bulldogs Fall Short Against Fairview

Bainville’s run at the district volleyball tournament came to an end in loser-out play against Fairview on Friday, Oct. 28. The Bulldogs dropped the match in Plentywood by a final of 16-25, 25-17, 18-25, 18-25.

The young Bainville squad, which features six freshmen and no seniors, earned two victories during the district tournament. “Everybody is back next year so hopefully we can build on that,” Bainville Coach Kallie Clarke said.

Elsie Wilson led the Bulldogs against Fairview with four aces, one block and seven digs.

Lila Butikofer finished with four aces and 10 assists.

Hailey Berwick scored 13 kills and had six digs.

Brecklyn Pippenger accounted for seven kills, three blocks and seven digs.
