Poplar Girls Down Rocky Boy

Poplar’s volleyball team downed Rocky Boy, 25-17, 25-9, 23-25, 25-13, in an away match on Friday, Aug. 26.

Leaders in aces for the Indians were EmmaRae Martell with 13 and Rebecca Gorder with 10. Lanie Moran added three aces. Having two aces each were Braelyn Nordwick, Angelina Escarcega and Morgan Russell.

Kessee Erickson and B. Nordwick scored four kills each.

Morgen Nordwick accounted for three kills and five tips. B. Nordwick had three tips.

Having Poplar’s two blocks were Erickson and M. Nordwick.

Poplar will host Scobey on Friday, Sept. 2.
