Bulls Fare Well At Tournament

The Froid Agland Bulls earned the consolation bracket title at the 2022 Billings Expos Invitational baseball tournament during the weekend.

Agland stopped the Casper, Wyo., Vikings, 8-2, on Sunday, July 17.

After Casper scored a run in the top of the first, the Bulls tallied six runs in the bottom of the first. A double by Braeden Romo highlighted the frame. Hitting singles were Khye Gramas, Cooper King, Wyatt Sugg and Bode Miller. Scoring in the inning were Miller, Gramas, Romo, King, Sugg and Kash Ator.

Casper cut the margin to 6-2 in the second inning.

The Bulls added two runs in the fifth when Sugg and Ator crossed the plate.

Henry Kukowski was the gameā€™s winning pitcher.

Leading the Bullsā€™ 11-hit attack with two hits each were Miller, Romo and King.

The Bulls were defeated by the Expos AA Navy team, 12-- 2, during the Billings Expos Invitational tournament on Saturday, July 16.

Froid jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the first inning when Gamas and Swenson crossed the plate. Swenson and Romo each had singles in the frame.

The Expos Navy team accounted for three runs in the second, one in the third and three more runs in the fourth to grab a 7-2 advantage.

The Expos added five runs in the fifth for the 10-run final margin.
