Bulldogs Score In Wolf Point

Bainville’s eighth-grade girls earned first place in the team standings at the junior high track meet in Wolf Point on Friday, April 22.

The Bulldogs scored 65.33 points to capture first place in the division. Hinsdale placed second with 65 points and Glasgow was third with 62.33 points.

Earning first in events for Bainville’s girls were Hailey Berwick in the 100 (14.14), 200 (30.47), and 400 (66.43) and Addy Hansen with a best of 78-05 in the discus.

Placing second were Lila Butikofer in the shot put and Sienna Martinez in the 800. Placing fourth were Butikofer in the discus and Berwick in the long jump. Taking sixth were Martinez in the long jump, Hansen in the shot put and Berwick in the high jump.

Butikofer placed seventh in the long jump. Martinez finished ninth in the 100. Rowan Wilson led Bainville’s boys by placing fifth in the 800 and 1600. Kaiden Holmes finished sixth in the 1600.
