Hello, my name is Kaci …. Hello, my name is Kaci ….

Hello, my name is Kaci Wallette and I am currently seeking re-election for my third term on the Tribal Executive Board with the Fort Peck Tribes. My parents are Nadine Adams and Karl Wallette. My grandparents are the late Tommy Dean Adams, Naomi (Archdale) Adams, Martin and Emma Wallette. I was born and raised on this great reservation in the communities of Frazer and Wolf Point. I am the proud mother of two children, Tade and Kashlyn.

I have an Associate of Science-Nursing degree. I am still employed as a casual part time Registered Nurse at the Northeast Montana Health Services –Poplar Hospital.

I am asking for your vote as I feel that I have a lot of knowledge that I can utilize to help keep improving areas that need attention on this reservation and for our people. I have been a staunch advocate for better healthcare services including mental health and access to drug and alcohol recovery. I was also able to use my health background experience, skills and connections which assisted all of our tribal, local, state and federal health agencies and facilities come together so we could get up to date information out to the public, provide testing and vaccination clinics and provide much needed essentials to those that were affected by the Covid virus.

I have proven that I am not afraid to tackle the tough problems that face us in the chambers. I feel a good leader should speak out for honesty, fairness and equality for everyone. I have a loud, strong voice and I am not afraid to use it when I feel that an issue needs to be brought to light. I vow to keep being transparent and have no problem being accountable to you the people.

I take my job as a councilwoman just as serious as my job as a Registered Nurse. No matter what is presented in front of you, it takes a team to work together for the best possible outcome.

Thank you for taking time out of your day for reading this and I would appreciate your continued support and vote on October 30th.
