Lady Wolves Score League Volleyball Win In Harlem

The Wolf Point Wolves battled back to earn a conference victory on the road on Saturday, Oct. 16.

The Wolves downed Harlem by a 23-25, 25-15, 22-25, 2517, 15-12, final.

Down by two sets to one, Wolf Point moved ahead 14-12 in the fourth set on a kill by Adeia Erickson and an ace by Katelyn MacDonald.

Harlem tied the score at 16-16, but the Wolves struck for the next four points including two on kills by Sierra Hamilton and an ace by Kylie Rodenberg.

Hamilton accounted for a kill and ace to put Wolf Point up by a 22-17 margin en route to a 25-17 victory.

In a back-and-fourth fifth set, the Wolves emerged with a 15-12 win over Harlem.

Serving five aces each for the Wolves were Hamilton and MacDonald.

Hamilton finished with 15 kills and nine blocks.

J’Elle Garfield had 13 digs. Rodenberg finished with 37 assists.

The Wolves opened the week with a loss at Baker, 1725, 22-25, 25-21, 25-22, 7-15, on Thursday, Oct. 14.

Hamilton led Wolf Point with 21 kills and three blocks. MacDonald served six aces and finished with 19 digs.

Rodenberg accounted for 42 assists.

Wolf Point will host Glasgow on Saturday, Oct. 23.
