Bowlby Stays Busy On Football Field, Classes
Culbertson High School senior Patrick Bowlby says one of his favorite things to do is play football for the Cowboys.
He has been part of Culbertson’s football program for the past four years.
“It’s a fun way to get out with your friends,” he said.
He plays on the Culbertson’s defensive line. The Cowboys opened their 2024 season with a dominating victory in Forsyth.
“It’s a great way to start the season to be honest,” Bowlby said.
Besides playing football, a hobby for Bowlby is gaming with his friends or alone.
“It’s a way to distract me from reality,” he said about gaming.
On weekends, you can find him busy making pizzas at the Stagecoach. He’s been working at the Culbertson restaurant for the last year and a quarter.
He doesn’t have a preference of his favorite type of pizza. “It’s all good,” he added.
In the classroom, his favorite subject is physics. His favorite teacher is Elizabeth Standley.
After high school, Bowlby plans to attend Bismarck State College and study electronics instrumentation and control technology.
He hopes to end up working in the oil and gas industry, and he would prefer staying in the eastern Montana/western North Dakota area. “There are a lot of companies I am going for,” he said.
