Effort For Communications Tower


Roosevelt County accepted a check from the Fort Peck Tribes for 36 percent of the cost of a new communications tower that was recently completed by the county. This new tower will improve the emergency communications throughout the county. The cost of the project is $508,000. The county utilized ARPA funds. The tower will support emergency services from Roosevelt County, Fort Peck Tribes, Montana Highway Patrol and the statewide microwave system.
