Team Drops Game Against Gillette

The Froid Agland Bulls fell to Gillette, Wyo., by an 11-10 final in the first round of the Billings Expos’ Invitational on Thursday, July 14.

After Gillette scored three runs in the top of the first, the Bulls struck back with two runs in the bottom of the inning when Bode Miller and Preston Swenson crossed the plate.

Gillette gained a 6-2 advantage, but the Bulls tied the game with four runs in the third.

Scoring for the Bulls were Swenson, Henry Kukowski, Brooks Solem and Kash Ator. Kukowski, Solem and Braeden Romo singled in the frame.

The Bulls took an 8-6 lead when Swenson and Kukowski scored in the top of the fourth. Khye Gamas and Miller crossed in the top of the fifth for a 10-7 advantage. Gamas and Kukowski singled in the frame.

Gillette won the game with four runs in the bottom of the fifth inning.

Solem, Gamas and Kukowski led the Bulls with two hits each.
