Wolves Place At Baker Meet
Wolf Point enjoyed a solid track performance at the Baker Invitational on Saturday, April 9.
The Wolves tied for seventh in the boys’ standings with 52 points.
The top three teams were Glasgow with 181, Sidney with 142 and Scobey with 90 points.
Ethan Blount highlighted Wolf Point’s day by finishing first in the 1600 with a time of 4:55.74. The senior placed third in the 800 at 2:13.34.
Kholby Spotted Wolf finished fourth in the 1600 at 5:07.41. He was eighth in the 800 at 2:23.10.
Kraven Silk had a strong performance as the junior took fourth in the 400 at 57.89 seconds and fifth in the 200 at 25.14 seconds.
Maddox Reum placed eighth in the 200, 11th in the 100 and 12th in the 400.
Other highlights included Charlie Page taking 10th in the shot put and 15th in the javelin.
The Lady Wolves scored 13 points for 14th place. Topping the field were Plentywood with 171, Colstrip with 136 and Glasgow with 120 points.
Katelyn MacDonald had a mark of 104-07 for third place in the javelin. She placed ninth in the shot put at 29-06.
Kylie Rodenberg finished sixth in the 100-meter hurdles with a time of 18.9 seconds. The sophomore placed 10th in the long jump at 14-07.
Josie Kolstad earned 10th in the javelin with a best of 82-08.
The Wolves will compete at the Eagle Invitational on Saturday, April 23.
