Frazer’s Girls Lose Game Against Scobey

Frazer’s girls’ basketball squad fell against Scobey, 5118, on Friday, Jan. 21.

The Bearcubs were only behind by a 12-11 margin after the first quarter of action. Angel Nelligan scored five points for Frazer during the period.

Scobey increased its lead to 27-13 at the half. The Spartans led 44-16 after the third quarter.

Nelligan led the Bearcubs with seven points. Liana Jackson added four points. Also scoring were Shakyra Beston with three, Bailey Beston with two and Angeline White with two.

Top scorers for Scobey were Carrie Taylor with 19 and Karys Lamb with 17 points.

In the boys’ contest, Scobey won by a 79-23 final.
