Wolves Earns Victory In Baker

Wolf Point’s boys’ basketball team outscored Baker by a 67-44 final in non-conference action on Friday, Jan. 7.

After leading by a 14-12 margin at the end of the first quarter, the Wolves increased the gap to 35-23 in the second quarter. Juliun Benson scored seven points during the second period.

The Wolves then ran off 17 points in the third quarter for a 52-34 margin. Leading the charge were Kelby Bauer with seven points and Jaxon Azure with five points in the quarter.

Wolf Point added 15 more points in the fourth period for the 67-44 final. Benson had five points in the quarter.

Wolf Point’s top scorers were Bauer with 20 and Benson with 17 points. Kraven Silk and Azure added nine points each.

Rounding out the scoring were Corey Martell with six, Jack Sprague with six and Ethan Blount with two.
