Sports Teams Return To Action

After the holiday break, area sports teams will return to action with a busy weekend of contests.

Wolf Point’s girls’ basketball team will aim to keep its strong season going when the Wolves travel to Baker for a non-conference game at Baker on Friday, Jan. 7. Wolf Point will then host conference foe Harlem on Saturday, Jan. 8.

Wolf Point’s boys also look to continue their winning season when the Wolves head to Baker on Friday, Jan. 7, and host Harlem for a conference contest on Saturday, Jan. 8.

On the mat, the Wolves’ wrestlers are scheduled to compete at the Cut Bank Invitational on Friday, Jan. 7, and Saturday, Jan. 8.

The Poplar Indians have two non-conference contests scheduled for this weekend. The Indians will travel to Fairview on Friday, Jan. 7. The Warriors have one of the top boys’ teams in District 2C again this season. Poplar will then host Dodson on Saturday, Jan. 8.

Lustre will return to action with home contests against Frazer on Saturday, Jan. 8. Lustre’s boys are undefeated for the season.

The Frazer Bearcubs will travel to Nashua on Friday, Jan. 7, and Lustre on Saturday, Jan. 8.
