Robin Perry Sr.

Robin Dean Perry Sr., 57, of Poplar died July 29, 2021, in Billings.

He was born March 20, 1964, to Shirley Perry and Buddy Grainger. In later years, he was raised by his stepfather Butch Crowe. Butch taught him all the ins and outs of the world and brought him into the construction and carpentry scene. He also worked in the oil field and was a heavy equipment operator.

He worked hard all of his life, but his favorite pastimes were working on vehicles, fishing and hunting with his friends and family. He was an avid hunter with a record buck in Boone and Crockett. Above all else, Robin was a family man and enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren.

He is survived by his children, Lance Marottek, Tory Swanson, Shelby Perry and Robin Perry Jr.; adopted children, Connor Gourneau and Ben Furheim; exwife and friend till the end, Crystal Lambert; six grandchildren; siblings, Susie Perry, Kelly Crowe, Denise Grainger, Dawn Grainger, Dave Grainger, Dan Grainger, Quincy Crowe and Eddie Crowe; adopted siblings, Rusty Boxer and Ed Walking Eagle; and special friend, Yolanda Parshall.

He was preceded in death by adopted son William “Haunta” Dupree.

A graveside service was held Thursday, Aug. 12, at the Fort Kipp Cemetery. Clayton Stevenson Memorial Chapel of Wolf Point was entrusted with the arrangements.
