Wolf Point Wins Tennis Matches At State Meet
Wolf Point earned a win in doubles and singles play during the Class B state tennis tournament held last week.
After falling short against a team from Fort Benton, Wolf Point’s doubles’ team of Jodi Houg and Mikaya Smoker- Dewitt defeated Bell/Mc-Comas of Valley Christian in the next round.
Houg/Smoker-Dwitt then lost to Cercrie/Richman of Chinook.
During singles’ action, Wolf Point’s Demi Kegley lost to Gibson of Fairfield in the first round. Kegley then defeated Knickerbocker of Jefferson in the next round.
Kegley fell short against Standiford of Chester/Joplin/ Inverness in the next round.
Wolf Point’s Angelica Sutton dropped her matches against Crabb of Choteau and Cochran of Harlem.
The Wolves accounted for two points at the tournament.
