Azure Earns College Coaching Honor

Poplar native Dustyn Azure has been selected the Cascade Collegiate Conference men’s wrestling Coach of the Year. Azure is the head wrestling coach at Eastern Oregon University.

Eastern Oregon has a 34-34 dual record under Azure. Five of his wrestlers have advanced to this year’s NAIA national championship scheduled for March 5-6.

Azure, an Assiniboine and Sioux Nations citizen, had coached four NAIA All-Americans and two top 20 teams finishes at the national meet heading into this season.
