FEMA Center Closes Sept. 30

Wednesday, Sept. 30, is the last day for in-person assistance at the Fort Peck/FEMA Assistance Center in the Wolf Point Community Center for enrolled members of the Fort Peck Assiniboine and Sioux Tribes who have qualified for FEMA disaster assistance for the Dec. 17-18 severe winter storm and straight-line winds.

FEMA specialists are available at the Assistance Center through Sept. 30 to help update applications, accept and upload required documents, answer questions, and check on application status. Help is also available for applicants who have been found ineligible and want to appeal.

Applicants have 60 days to file an appeal from the date listed on their determination letter from FEMA.
