Eighth Graders Celebrate Graduation
Wolf Point’s eighth-grade graduation featured 45 students during a ceremony in the gym on Tuesday, May 26.
Honor students serving as speakers were Sophia Ricker, Caitlin Mendoza, Afton Hanks, Cali Gorder and Tyler Huber.
Scott Montgomery, one of the junior high teachers, was the ceremony’s guest speaker.
Montgomery read advice from various speakers regarding how to achieve success in high school. The words of wisdom include see what you want to do, follow your path; make sure you go to classes; take responsibility to what you’re expecting to do; and find ways to show gratitude.
A highlight of the program was announcing that the outstanding boy award winner was Kellen Moran and the outstanding girl award winner was Cali Gorder.
