Wolf Point hosted the Northern B divisional boys’ golf tournament on Monday, May 11.

Poplar’s Lukas Young shot a 92 to tie for 13th place and qualify for the state tournament.

Cole Holen led Wolf Point with a round of 103 to tie for 32nd place.

Other results for the Wolves were Jesse Reed with an 111 for 49th place, Chaz Kegley with a 133 for 64th place, Conway Turcotte with a 138 for 65th place and Aaryn Hamilton with a 149 for 67th place.

Playing for Poplar were Royal Crawford with a 106 for 38th place, Rollen Spotted Bull with a 138 for 65th place and Kenshin Smith with a 156 for 69th place.

Medalist of the meet, which was played in extremely windy conditions, was Conrad’s Bentley Hofstad with an 83. Also in the top four were Chinook’s Ryan Bell at 84, Conrad’s Reece Taylor at 85 and Fairfield’s Kooper Sieler at 86. Tying for fifth with 88s were Glasgow’s Hank Hopstad, Choteau’s Kael Meyer, Fairfield’s Devin Lonner and Harlem’s Kenny Weasel.

Conrad won the team title with a score of 359 followed by Glasgow at 370, Choteau at 377 and Malta at 382.
