Area Golfers Qualify For State Meet

The Eastern C divisional golf meet was held at the Sidney Country Club on Monday, May 11.

Culbertson’s Noah Martin shot a 93 to earn ninth place and a state tournament berth.

Froid/Lake’s Carsen Kelm also qualified for state by shooting a 96 for 13th place.

Other scores for Culbertson’s boys were Wyatt Martin with a 106 and Felixe Becker at 129.

Scores for Bainville included Lane Giese with a 102 and Kyn Beery with a 116.

Playing for Froid/Lake were Cody Olson with a 112, Jhett Davidson with a 124 and Rylan Young with a 128.

In the girls’ division, Bainville’s Chandi Johnson shot a 112 to tie for 13th place and earn a state tournament berth.

Bainville’s Sadie Romo finished with a score of 169.
