Wolf Point’s tennis team competed well at the Townsend Invitational during the weekend.

“The best teams in the state were playing at this invite. Again, the girls played hard, won some matches and others ended very close,” Wolf Point Coach Dan Horsmon said. “We always improve when we play quality teams, and I am super proud of how hard we competed.”

Tanna Guldborg won two matches during the weekend. Also earning victories were Hailey GrayHawk and Jeina Reum.

In doubles action, the team of Riley Schwarzrock and McKenzie Rodenberg posted three victories.

The team of Lauren Rodenberg and McKinlee Paulson won a match. Also scoring a victory was the team of Gray-Hawk and Guldborg.

The Wolves will play at the divisional seeding tournament in Baker on Friday, May 15.

“We’re looking forward to the post-season. The Lady Wolves are ready to go,” Horsmon said.
