Wolf Point Earns Victories During Tennis Matches

Wolf Point’s tennis players enjoyed success on the courts last week.

Kai Villaluz won three matches during home action against Poplar on Tuesday, April 21. Also winning for the Wolves in singles were Tanna Guldborg, Hailey GrayHawk, Jeina Reum and Afton Hanks.

Posting victories in doubles were Lauren Rodenberg/ Riley Schwarzrock and McKenzie Rodenberg/ Hanks.

The tournament in Great Falls on Saturday, April 25, featured teams from Simms, Townsend, Jeerson, Chinook, Fort Benton, Red Lodge, Fairfield, Forsyth, Loyola and Three Forks.

“Even in the chilly weather, the Wolves worked hard and had much success,” Wolf Point Coach Dan Horsmon said. “Many of the matches were very close at the end.”

The doubles team of McKinlee Paulson/McKenzie Rodenberg won three matches.

Winning singles matches were Guldborg, GrayHawk and Reum.

The Wolves will play at the Red Lodge Invitational in Billings this weekend.
