Melbourne-Hines Stays Involved At School
Wolf Point High School senior Kamilla Melbourne-Hines has been involved in a couple of sports during her time at the school.
After playing tennis in her sophomore season, she is now in her second year in the track program.
Her events are the javelin, discus and shot put. Her favorite event is the javelin.
“I like the footwork that you have to do,” Melbourne- Hines said. Her goal is throwing farther than a season ago.
She said her hobby is just hanging out with friends.
In the classroom, her favorite subject is government.
“I like doing something that I’m good at,” Melbourne-Hines said. “I think I’m pretty good at government and explaining it.” Her favorite teacher is Will Larsen.
She has been attending school in Wolf Point throughout her education.
“I like how everybody is close. Everybody knows each other,” she said.
After high school, she plans to Montana State University - Billings and study elementary education.
“I just want to be involved with the kids,” she explained. “I’ve always thought it would be fun.”
