Area Gymnasts Place At Jamestown, Billings Meets
Eastern Montana Gymnastics attended the Winter Escape meet in Jamestown, N.D., on Feb. 21-22.
EMG’s platinum team brought home the first-place award out of three teams. All-around champions were Serenity O’Dea (silver) and Ava Hove (platinum), with Ila Lehner (platinum) and Lina Smith (platinum) ending in second place in the allaround.
Event winners were River Darby (silver) on balance beam, O’Dea on vault and floor, Lehner on vault and Hove on balance beam and floor. Runners-up on events were Cora Hove (silver) on balance beam, Emmalyn Vallejo (silver) on balance beam and floor, Lehner on uneven bars and floor, Ava Hove on vault and Smith on vault, uneven bars, balance beam and floor.
