Brockton Beats MonDak Squads
The Brockton Warriors stayed hot with two basketball victories over MonDak on Friday, Jan. 23.
Brockton’s boys won by an 87-45 margin. The Warriors jumped out to a 33-11 lead in the first quarter. Colter Nygard and Tefton Bear each scored 10 points in the first quarter. Brockton held a 59-29 half-time advantage. Miles Boxer Jr. hit three three-pointers and Jarid Fast Horse Jr. added two three-pointers in the second period.
Fasthorse finished with 25 points to lead the Warriors. Bear scored 16 points. Also reaching double figures were Nygard with 16 and Boxer with 13.
Rounding out the scoring were Josh Firemoon with seven, Ronnie Blackdog with two, Thomas Blackdog with two, Weston Lambert with two and Codean BigEagle with one.
Brockton’s girls rolled to a 60-25 victory over the Thunder.
The Warriors gained a 19-4 lead in the first quarter and held a 32-12 half-time advantage.
Leading Brockton’s attack were Tamryn Bauer with 23 and Quintana Young with 21 points.
Also scoring were Madalyn Fish with seven, Marlene Fish with four, Azalea Clampitt with three and Claire Clampitt with two.
Abby Lowes scored 13 points for MonDak.
