Wolf Point Drops League Games Against Glasgow

Wolf Point’s basketball teams dropped conference contests against strong Glasgow squads on Saturday, Jan. 24.

Glasgow gained a 23-8 lead in the first quarter and held a 43-19 half-time advantage.

Roper Flaten led Wolf Point’s boys with 16 points.

Also scoring were Zandon Calder with six, Brady Four Bear with six, Sean Hamilton with five, Cole Holen with four, Stone Lilley with four, Richard Campbell with three, Andrew Williamson with three, Jett Azure with two and Caydn Bear with one.

Cade Hudyma scored 32 points for the Scotties. Also reaching double figures were Grady Nielsen with 13 and Cash Stulc with 10 points.

In the girls’ game, Glasgow posted a 77-33 victory.

After taking a 22-10 lead in the first quarter, Glasgow led 46-18 at the half.

Maci Fourstar scored 15 points for the Lady Wolves.

Mattie Azure and Jorilynn Black Eagle added three three-pointers for nine points each.

Leading Glasgow were Joely Chappell with 25 and Emma Mandeville with 14 points.
