Brockton Girls Defeat Nashua
Brockton’s girls’ basketball team roared out to a 31-2 lead in the first quarter and downed Nashua, 72-34, on Thursday, Jan. 8.
The Warriors held a 43-15 half-time advantage. Brockton increased the margin to 65-25 in the third quarter.
Top scorers for Brockton were Tamryn Bauer with 20, Quintana Young with 13 and Marlene Fish with 10 points.
Also scoring were Claire Clampitt with six, Reese DeCoteau with five, Taylor Cummins with four, Azalea Clampitt with four, Raykira Runsabove with four, Madalyn Fish with one, Olivia Erickson with one and Tatawna Big Eagle with one.
Leading Nashua were Dyllan Bergstorm with 14 and Kimber Tihista with nine points.
