Brockton Boys Stop Nashua
Brockton’s boys’ basketball team handled Nashua, 83-33, for a non-conference victory on Thursday, Jan. 8.
The Warriors jumped out to a 27-9 advantage in the first quarter. Ronnie Blackdog scored eight points and Miles Boxer Jr. added seven points in the period.
Brockton added 21 points in the second period for a 48-20 half-time lead. Colter Nygard accounted for eight points and Tefton Bear had seven points in the quarter.
The Warriors struck for 19 more points in the third quarter for a 67-23 advantage. Connecting on three-pointers in the quarter were Jarid Fast Horse, Bear and Boxer.
Reaching double figures for Brockton were Boxer with 16, Codean Big Eagle with 14, Bear with 14, Nygard with 12 and Blackdog with 10 points.
Rounding out Brockton’s scoring were Fast Horse with five, Lahmi Youngman with three, Charlie Firemoon with three, Josh Firemoon with two, Kison Greybull with two and Weston Lambert with two.
Zander Schulte led Nashua with 15 points while Charlie Kaasa added nine points.
