Bainville Girls Defeat Savage, 57-33

The Bainville Bulldogs outscored Savage in each quarter to post a 57-33 home girls’ basketball victory on Friday, Jan. 2.

Bainville jumped out to a 12-6 lead in the first quarter and gained a 26-17 half-time advantage.

The Bulldogs struck for 19 points in the third quarter to increase the margin to 45-27.

Leading Bainville’s attack were Hailey Berwick with 15, Lila Butikofer with 14 and Addison Hansen with 11 points. Also scoring were Chandi Johnson with six, Jodi Albus with five, Jaylynn Bjorge with five, Annalyce Sorenson with three and Emmalyn Anderson with two points.

Aspen Peterson scored 22 of Savage’s points.
