In Town Bus Route To Start Jan. 5 In Wolf Point

The Wolf Point School District will begin town bus route service on Monday, Jan.

Wolf Point Superintendent of Schools Dr. David Perkins said the reasons for the addition of the route are:

1. Safety – “We have students on the northside of town that walk to the junior high/high school campus and Southside School. On the southside of town, we have students who walk to the Northside School. These students have to cross U.S. Highway 2 and the railroad. This is a major safety hazard.”

2. The route will also serve as a cold weather bus on the same route.

Students should arrive at the stops five minutes before the scheduled pickup time. The school district may adjust times as needed with proper notification. The bus will not wait past the designated time.
