Calder Earns League Honor
Post season honors have been announced for the Northern B football conference.
Wolf Point’s offensive lineman Zandon Calder, a junior, was voted to the All-Conference second team.
All-State selections from the league were Fairfield’s Conor Barrett, Glasgow’s Khye Gamas, Malta’s Dawson Hammond, Conrad’s Trapper Kinamon, Glasgow’s William Kirkland, Glasgow’s Grady Nielsen, Malta’s Straud Sims, Glasgow’s Wyatt Sugg and Conrad’s Carsen Sullivan.
Voted All-Conference first team on offense were Glasgow’s Gamas at quarterback, Glasgow’s Sugg at running back, Conrad’s Sullivan at running back, Malta’s Hammond at wide receiver, Glasgow’s Nielsen at wide receiver, Malta’s Laytin Erickson at tight end, Malta’s Kazner Oxarart as athlete, Fairfield’s Barrett as lineman, Conrad’s Kinamon as lineman, Glasgow’s Kirkland as lineman, Glasgow’s Andrew Linder as lineman and Malta’s Straud Sims as lineman.
Defensive picks were Glasgow’s Tavin Boland at back, Fairfield’s Travis Cartwright-Gines at back, Malta’s Hammond at back, Conrad’s Sullivan at back, Conrad’s Tegan Jones at linebacker, Malta’s Sims at linebacker, Glasgow’s Sugg at linebacker, Fairfield’s Reed Von Stein at linebacker, Glasgow’s Kirkland at end, Glasgow’s Nielsen at end, Malta’s Kenan LaBrie at line and Glasgow’s Andrew Linder at line. Special team selections were Conrad’s Reece Taylor at kicker, Malta’s Landon Retan at punter and Malta’s Hammond as return specialist.
