Circle Repeats As Volleyball Champs

The Circle Wildcats repeated as the Class C state volleyball champions.

The Wildcats, which finished the season undefeated, downed Denton/Geyser/ Stanford/Geraldine by a 2520, 25-20, 23-25, 25-16 final.

Circle opened the tournament with a 3-2 victory over Denton/Geyser/Stanford/ Geraldine. The Wildcats won the last set by a 15-10 final.

Circle then downed Chester/ Joplin/Inverness by a 3-1 set margin.

In the semi-final round, the Wildcats edged Belt in five, 22-25, 27-29, 25-22, 25-20, 16-14.
