Brockton Warriors Host Cross-County Invitational


Brockton’s runners earned second place in the boys’ division and third in the girls’ division during their home cross-country meet held on Friday, Sept. 19.
In the boys’ division, the Warriors finished with 36 points. Williston Trinity Christian took first with 12 points.
Joshua Firemoon earned fourth place to lead Brockton’s boys. He posted a time of 19:02.9. Plentywood’s Dean Sampsen finished first at 18:14.2. Brockton’s Miles Boxer Jr. placed 11th with a time of 20:52.9. Daniel Segubiense took 23rd at 22:22.7 In the girls’ division, Brockton came away with thirdplace honors with 18 points behind Culbertson/Bainville with 12 and Circle with 16.
BraeLynn DeMarrias led Brockton’s girls with a time of 22:51.1.
Tamryn Bauer took 10th place by running the course in 26:16.2.
Skylar Cummins finished 14th at 27:10.8. Taylor Cummins placed 17th at 27:36.9.
Marlene Fish earned 31st with a time of 31:23.4. Olivia Erickson took 35th at 32:44.2. Mackenzie Jones placed 36th at 33:03.0. Jade Olney was 37th at 33:50.0.
Reese Decoteau placed 40th at 37:51.1. Ivy Lilly Todd took 41st at 38:08.3.
