Bulldogs Beat Scobey

Bainville’s volleyball squad scored a five-set home victory over Scobey on Saturday, Sept. 6.

The Bulldogs won by a 25-23, 25-22, 15-25, 20-25, 15-7, margin.

The deciding set was even at 3-3 until Bainville struck for six straight points on the service of Lila Butikofer. Hailey Berwick had two kills during the run while Addison Hansen added a kill.

An ace by Berwick, a block by Hansen and an ace by Hansen increased the margin to 13-5.

Casey Myers accounted for a kill to put the score at 14-7. Bainville’s final point came on a kill by Chandi Johnson.

Berwick finished with 25 kills, two aces and 17 digs. Butikofer had 39 assists and a block.

Myers accounted for 12 kills, 15 digs and two aces. Johnson added two aces, three blocks and three kills.

Hansen scored two aces, three blocks and six kills. Sienna Martinez had 15 digs.

Jaylynn Bjorge served one ace. Johnna Ryder had five digs.
